Pengaruh Persepsi Masyarakat terhadap Pajak Penerangan Jalan di Kecamatan Baiturrahman Kota Banda Aceh

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine the public perception of road lighting tax. The Samples in this reaserch are people on five village in the district of Baiturrahman, the village is Seutui, Neusu Jaya, Ateuk Pahlawan, Peuniti, and Suka Ramai. The Techniques of collecting data in this research is research library and field research through observation, documentation, and questionnaire. The statement on each questionnaire is based on four indicators: knowledge, provision, awareness of pay and benefits received. Questionnaires were analyzed using relative frequency distribution formula. The scoring of questionnaire on the average value of the results of the relative frequency distribution is calculated based on the alternative answers of samples by using a Likert scale. Categorization average valuation starting from the boundaries 1.00 to 1.79 are categorized Poor (PO), furthermore, scores from 1.80 to 2.59 are categorized Less Good (LG), furthermore, scores from 2.60 to 3.29 are categorized medium (M). Then, from 3.30 to 4.19 categorized as Good (G). Finally, a score of 4.20 to 5.00 are categorized Very Good (VG). The conclusion of this study, based on the public perception of knowledge indicator is still not good with an average score of 2.52. The public perception based on the provision of road lighting, categorized Good with an average score of 3.30. Based on indicators of paying public awareness, categorized into less well with an average score of 2.1. The public perception in assessing the benefits of road lighting tax is Good with an average score of 3.31.
