Pengelolaan Baitul Mal wa Tamwil Berbasis Komputer di Kabupaten Banyumas, Jawa Tengah

Abstract

The drawbacks of Baitul Mal wa Tamwil (BMT) generally consist of : unclear organization structure and job description, inadequate recording and reporting of financial transaction, and inadequate of accounting information system.  This study aims to develop a compatible model of accounting information system for managing the financial transaction of BMT.     Applying the qualitative approach for data collection, through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions,  the data is analysed by interaction method that consists data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusion.  Moreover, appropriate software package is developed by system development life cycles (SDLC) approach based on the strengthen, weaknesses, opportunity and threat (SWOT)  as well as system needs assesment of BMT in Banyumas region.
